This month, our school community proudly celebrated Black History Month by honoring the achievements, contributions, and lasting impact of Black leaders, innovators, and change-makers throughout history. Through classroom learning and meaningful discussions, students reflected on the importance of equity, courage, and leadership. We also embraced Valentine’s Day as a special time to celebrate friendship, kindness, and caring within our school. Together, these celebrations reminded us of the power of respect, compassion, and community in making our school a place where everyone feels valued and supported. At MCS our focus is on supporting students in building healthy friendships and demonstrating kindness in their daily interactions. We are also reinforcing the importance of being thoughtful and responsible about their online presence, helping students understand how their words and actions reflect who they are.
